Sentence, Run-On, or Fragment? A PowerPoint Activity #2

Sentence, Run-On, or Fragment? A PowerPoint Activity #2
Product Description
My students need repeated practice dealing with run-ons and sentence fragments. The sentence fragments and run-ons in this PowerPoint represent mistakes I've seen over and over in student writing. For example, comma splices are a major problem for my students, and many of the run-ons in this activity fall into that category.

This PowerPoint consists of twenty-nine slides. There is a title and instructions screen followed by thirteen groups of words. After your students determine if each group is a complete sentence, run-on or a fragment, you can go over the answers on the last thirteen slides. The animation on the slides is set up where you can reveal the group of words, the answer, and the fix-up sentence separately.

This PowerPoint's basic format allows you to edit to meet your needs.

This product is part of a bundle that contains four PowerPoints very similar to this one. You can view it here: Sentence, Run-On, or Fragment? PowerPoint Bundle
