About the series
This series of three books helps students learn how to construct meaningful sentences of increasing complexity and variety. The ability and confidence thus gained will provide a sound foundation for the production of cohesive written texts that are interesting to read.

Book 1 examines various types of simple sentences and also introduces the concept of compound sentences.

Book 2 introduces ways in which sentences can be expanded and made more interesting. It also covers more advanced sentence structures.

Book 3 encourages students to use sentences of varying length and different types in their written texts. The concept of cohesion and the use of elements like similes, metaphors and idioms are also introduced.
Recommended ages (for students learning English as a first language)
Book 1: Ages 8-9
Book 2: Ages 9-10
Book 3: Ages 10-11

This series may also be used by older students who are learning English as a second or foreign language.
