This product was created to introduce the first and second-grade standards of informative writing to students who still need a lot of support to access curriculum. The packet uses 6 five-page activities to target the following skills:

  • Categories
  • Paragraph building
  • Describing
  • Sentence building
  • Sequencing steps
  • Identifying vocabulary

Students complete one activity per day for a week, adding each section to a report that is completed on day five. Activities include cut-and-paste, multiple choice, copying/writing, and drawing.
