Sentence Structure lesson plan: Silly Short Story. This document contains lesson plans for 3-4 days and are intended to help students understand the basic parts of a sentence- mainly the subject and the verb (predicate).
to begin, students participate in a fun sentence writing activity with index cards.
In the end, students are asked to write a 2-3 sentence silly, short story. Then they are asked to circle and underline the subject and verb in each.
