This fun starter kit includes everything you need to have your students become sentence surgeons!
Included are 4 period, 4 exclamation mark, and 4 question mark bandages (to place where this punctuation is needed).
Also included are 4 commas/apostrophe (depending on how they are flipped) cotton balls, 4 beginning quotation marks, and 4 ending quotation mark cotton balls (to place where this punctuation is needed).
In addition, you get 4 thermometers. You can use these for different things, but I like to use them for capitalization. When facing upwards, it means the word needs be capitalized, and facing downwards it means the word should not be capitalized.
For all your other grammar needs, I have included 5 red crosses for things such as misspelled words, subject-verb agreement, and whatever else you want the students to practice.
Finally, your kit includes a doctor’s bag label for your students and 10 sentence of varying levels to get you started. After you run out of sentences, use sentence strips to continue this activity. Answer keys are included with the sentences I have in the kit.
Thank you and enjoy!
