This document is designed to help students understand the difference between declarative, interrogative, exclamatory and imperative sentences. It can be used as review, partner work, whole class instruction or small group.
It calls on students to make connections between the different types of sentences and to compare and contrast each type of sentence. Additionally, it inspires higher order thinking as they are synthesizing all of the material at the end of the activity so it is so much more than just a worksheet.
Students will be able to identify and use the different types of sentences.
