PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Sentence Types Unit: Asking, Telling, Commanding, & Exclaiming Sentences. I created this to help my students, especially my ESL students to grasp the difference between these critical types of sentences.

Sorting Sentences: Introduction to Telling, Asking, Commanding, and Exclaiming Sentences. Includes options for sorting mats, recording sheets and a black and white version of all activities. Includes a cut & paste recording sheet.

Monkey Sentence Clippers: A literacy station where students use pegs to ‘clip’ the correct ending to each sentence on the cards.

Monkey Sentence Word Mix-Up: Students re-arrange the words to make complete sentences with the correct punctuation endings. Includes a recording sheet.

Independent Worksheets for Extra Practice: Students complete these worksheets as independent practice or for informal assessment purposes.
