Description
Where should you focus your attention with students after question word practice? Well, knowing how to answer the question is of course vital! This worksheet can be used as either an independent work packet, a CFU activity or a quiz.
Activities: fill in, sorting, analyzing & writing.
Provides directions for each part/activity in the packet - aids with independent work packet usage and when used as a quiz.
The first part (page 1) requires students to interpret what the question is asking and provide a valid and correct sentence in response. Students may use the images to help them answer or even when they are struggling to determine the meaning of the question. Contains 6 questions.
Part 2 (page 2) requires students to sort the verbs and nouns into two different "post-its". Contains 9 verbs and 8 nouns.
Part 3 & 4 (page 3) requires students to look at a picture of a fish tank and - analyze - determine a logical way to fill in the 2 sentences without a word bank. The bottom portion asks students to write 3 sentences using 3 DIFFERENT nouns or subjects of the sentence.
This packet has worked great with my summer school ENL students at the beginning and intermediate levels!
