Description
I have been looking for a fun and engaging way to try to help my students develop their sentence writing skills in shorter, writing sessions. I also know that students sometimes struggle to CONNECT their sentences logically to build quality paragraphs--a critical writing skill that is often a part of standardized testing!
This set of 24 sentence task cards is perfect to use as a practice opportunity for whole class instruction, in literacy centers, or to use as an instructional tool when working with students needing extra practice in this area. Now these cards have digital slides included. Students can write in the text boxes on each slide or use the digital recording sheet that is included.
Cards are made with an easy-to-read font and are available in color and black and white and include several pictures of the resource in action as well as blank cards so you can write your own versions!
Many intermediate students need explicit coaching in how to connect multiple sentences in a logical order and to use transition words and phrases to connect ideas. This resource allows you a simple and convenient way to showcase several different ways that are easy for students to grasp.
Also included are several recording sheets and supplemental ideas to allow for flexibility of use. ENJOY!
