Do your students have trouble writing in complete sentences or identifying a sentence from a fragment? This fun game is a great way for students to practice identifying sentences and fragments. It has a wide range of questions for students on different levels. Some sentence and fragments are challenging while others are simpler. Game boards come in black and white and there is a set in color so that you may choose. There are blank game cards so that teachers may create their own sentences and fragments. Use it as a pre-assessment, quiz, review or just for fun. It makes a great center activity or incentive. Students play the game by selecting a card and reading and stating whether it is a sentence or a fragment. They read the back of the card to determine if they are correct. If they are correct they will move their game piece the number of places indicated on the game card. The game board includes additional directions to move students forward or backward. Individual game pieces are not included. Students may use strips of paper or other markers as game pieces.
