This test is a quick assessment for basic understanding of sentence structure. This is a 34 question test for 4th and 5th grade. The test includes a regular education copy and a modified copy for special education students that require modified tests through an IEP. The modified test has choices for students to circle or limited choices in some questions. Two of the open ended questions are a multiple choice answer. Answer key is provided. Both tests have a sample question for each section.
The test is broken up into 6 sections.
Section A: Identify fragment or sentence
Section B: Identify Declarative, imperative, exclamatory, or
interrogative and add proper punctuation
Section C: Divide a sentence between the complete subject and the
