What educators are saying

I used this resource to practice writing sentences before we began writing paragraphs. It help my students create and expand sentences.
I added this resource as a supplement to my writing unit. It really got the kids thinking about their sentences. Very useful!

Description

Writing a Complete Sentence Graphic Organizer

- Many students have a difficult time writing sentences that contain a subject and predicate.

- This graphic organizer ensures that their sentence includes a subject (in the "Who" box), a verb, (in the "Did What" box) and a telling part (in the "End of Sentence" or "Why or When."

- Can be used for students' original sentences or based on a character from a book they have read.

- My students have become more adept at writing complete sentences through the use of this organizer and eventually no longer depend on it for writing complete sentences.
