Commemorate September 11 by using this silhouette and writing activity to enhance your discussion of this tragic day. This resource includes 3 different versions depending on the grade level you teach.
- Version #1 is an easy version with the silhouette already ready and students can add their own words to the clouds that symbolizes smoke.
- Version #2 has dark cutouts of buildings for student to cut out and layer to form their own silhouette of The Twin Towers and New York.
- Version #3 has blank outlines of buildings for students to draw and color adding windows if desired to create The Twin Towers and New York.
Once complete, glue their silhouette and writing on the back and front of construction paper for more durability.
Great as an in-house or homework activity with parents!
