This lesson uses audio of first-hand accounts of those who experienced 9/11/01. Using a national story collection site, your students will be exposed to gripping short tales of what it was like on the day. Policemen, survivors, and loved ones recall the unbelievable events from September 11, 2001.
Included in this product:
*A variety of ways to use these stories, including on the computer or using printed out copies.
* Ideas on how to use this lesson individually, in partners, small groups, whole class or in stations.
*A worksheet for students to capture what they are hearing or reading in these primary sources.
*A reflection sheet to go further with one of the stories.
*Bonus information with four amazing videos you can show your students.
Note: These stories can be intense. I give ideas on how to work with this in the lesson.
