September 11, 2001 is a date which most teachers remember like it was yesterday. However, our students (this year's sophomore classes will be the first post-9/11 babies!) do not remember much, if anything depending on when they were born, from this day. This project was designed for students to learn more about this fateful day in American history by requiring them to conduct an interview with an adult who clearly remembers the events of 9/11.
Skills Gained Through This Project:
-Creating interview questions
-Creating an oral history account
-Grasp of correct grammar and punctuation
This project is appropriate for any high school level student.
