Teaching about September 11th with younger learners can be scary, but it's still important. Use this simple photograph slideshow with the patterned sentence, "We remember ____" to show your K-2 students some basic events of 9/11. The same pattern sentence is also included as an early reader for students to use.
Checkout my blog posts on September 11th for pictures and ideas for how I use these materials in my classroom!
