This listing contains 22 Bell Work activities designed for 6th grade ELA. It comes with both a PowerPoint slide show to display the daily bell work and printable PDF half-sheets that work great if you prefer paper, have technology issues, or have a substitute that cannot access your digital files. Simply print and go!

September 2021 has 21 possible instruction days.

The bell work slides have a September/Fall theme and there are five categories of bell work that rotate. You'll find quick write prompts, parts of speech review, literature terms, funky vocabulary, and quotes from authors for reflection responses. The bell work does not have to be completed in the order in which it's presented, but a few items are tied to specific days in September (such as National Guacamole Day.)

Please take a look at the preview to get a feel for the slides and printables. The watermark seen in the preview is not present in the purchased product.

You can open any PowerPoint file in Google Slides. Read this quick how-to if you need to convert any PowerPoint to Slides.
