This math word problem resource for use with Google Classroom™ contains four sets of word problems. The word problems are common core standards aligned and include add to, take from, put together/ take apart and compare. Each set is designed for students to solve two word problems a day. There are a ten word problems a week. Each set has a different fall theme including Autumn Bakery, Raking Leaves, Autumn Scavenger Hunt, and Gathering Acorns. These problems also work well for guided math.
Students will click on start and be taken to the home page. On the home page students will click on the cover page slide for the week. On the cover page, students will click on the number of the day and be taken to a slide with two math word problems. Students will solve the problem and check their work by touching or clicking their answer. If the student clicks on a correct answer, a slide with “Way to Go!” will pop up. If the student clicks on an incorrect answer a slide with “Try Again, You’ll Get It Next Time” will pop up. Common Core and CGI Problem Types are included.
