Here is a list of the activities included:
Real or Nonsense Word Sort – Students will sound out CVC words and determine if it is a real or nonsense word.
ABC Order – Students will put school related words in ABC order.
Noun Sort – Students will sort nouns by person, place, or thing.
Nouns for Places – Students will read sentences and determine which word is a noun for place.
Choose the Verb – Students will read two words and choose the word that is a verb.
Complete/Incomplete Sentence Sort – Students will read a sentence and determine if it is a complete or incomplete sentence.
Adjective Identification – Students will read a sentence and identify the word that is an adjective.
Count the Syllables – Students will say a word and count the number of syllables.
Sort the Ending – Students will sort words that end in –k and –ck.
Fix the Sentence – Sentence will read a sentence and make corrections to it.
Sequencing Numbers – Students will sequence a group of 4 numbers.
Count On – Students will count on three numbers from a given number.
Write the Addition Sentence – Students will count the objects in two groups and create an addition sentence.
Write the Missing Addend – Students will read an addition sentence and solve for the missing addend.
Solve for How Many in All – Students will read a question, count the objects in two groups write the addition sentence, create an addition sentence to solve for how many in all.
Write the Addition Sentence – Students will read a word problem and create an addition sentence to solve.
Write it Another Way – Students will read an addition sentence and create a new addition sentence using the same fact family.
Solve for the Missing Part – Students will use a number bond and determine what number is needed to complete the bond.
Part-Part-Whole – Students will use a part-part-whole model to determine the number that is needed to complete the model.
Write the Parts and Whole – Students will use a number cube train to create an addition sentence that shows the parts and the whole.
