A quick and fun way for students to practice finding synonyms and listing the intensity of adjectives! Use this in September to work on vocabulary skills, using a thesaurus, etc.
2 Different Worksheets:
1-Students write words (either given or self-generated) on the erasers and figure out 4 other synonyms to list on the lines of the pencils.
2-Students choose an adjective (either given or self-generated) and find 4 synonyms for that word. They then list the 5 words one the eraser/lines of the pencil in order of the intensity of the word.
Included is an example page to use with students.
Easy to differentiate; change the requirements for each student, give them a list of words to choose from, complete as a group, etc.
The PDF is 5 pages; the student worksheet is just 1 page long. Included are the 2 different versions both color and BW of the student page, as well as the example page.
This is included in my Monthly Synonym and Antonym Bundle.
