Celebrating the unofficial holidays throughout the year, each day in this September pack has two pages that can be printed front to back. The first page includes information about the day and has three prompts for students to think about and possibly respond to. These prompt boxes are the same: "Think it Through" which pushes students to think more deeply about something; "What Would You Do?" which challenges students to do some critical thinking; and "One Wish" which allows students the opportunity to think big.
The thinking prompts can be used for your Morning Meeting Message, discussions for your students to have at lunch time, or for any 5 to 10 minute chunk of time that you need to fill up productively.
The activity sheets are all different, with the same heading: "Give it a Go..." containing reading, writing, math, drawing, and designing opportunities.
The great thing about this pack is that it can be used year after year regardless of the calendar days. You can pick only the days your students are in school, use certain days for substitute plans, or create an entire monthly pack for your students.
It's completely flexible to be used however you'd like to use it!
I hope you find it as a useful tool in your classroom, promoting creative thinking and meaningful classroom discussions.
This September pack includes the following topics: Emma Nutt, Blueberry Popsicles, Skyscrapers, Newspaper Carriers, Cheese Pizza, Fighting Procrastination, Grandma Moses, Physical Therapy, Teddy Bears, T.V.
