These are Winter themed sequence puzzles made for three-step sequencing of everyday events that happen during Winter and Christmas. It has 36 puzzle pieces to form 12 puzzle strips. Each strip can be placed on a sequence mat (in the correct order). I would highly recommend this set as an introductory lesson for sequencing because they are clear and simple. Also because the puzzles are self correcting. The puzzle shapes will help younger children to understand that the events are happening in a particular order. The mats and puzzles are in both color and a black and white version. The cards are perfect for group work and stations. Pages 4 to 6 has three different sequencing mats with headers showing:
1, 2, and 3.
step 1, step2, and step 3, and
first, second, and third.
As you introduce new sequence words to your class you can move from the number frames to the frames with sequence words.
Print the sets out on a smaller scale to be used for reference as an answer key because they are already presented in the correct order.
