Sequencing Picture Cards
: This activity pack is a great way to scaffold the skills of “sequencing events” and “retelling” a story. This pack includes differentiated versions of each sequence, so that you can better meet the diverse learning needs of your students. The activities can be used as a fun way to introduce the skill and to practice it throughout the year. This pack is great for any students who have sequencing or retelling IEP goals!
The cards are also a great resource for visual learners or students who need extra support. The clear visuals make this an ideal activity for students with autism or other disabilities, as well as English Language Learners.
**LOVE sequencing??** This product is included in my Sequencing Growing Bundle. Purchase now for a big discount!
This complete sequencing activity pack includes 14 sets of cards (8 three-step sequences and 6 four-step sequences), 2 reusable velcro sequencing mats, cut and paste pages, writing pages, data tracker, and a poster to display. All sequences are included in black and white and color!
See below for additional details about what's inside.
Reusable Sequencing Cards & Mats:
Includes 14 full color sequencing sets. Print and laminate the mat for durability. I also like to add velcro to the backs of the cards--this makes for easy switching!
Cut & Paste Pages:
All of the cards are included in black and white so that they can be used as a hands-on cut and paste activity. You can also use them to assess student understanding.**The black and white version is not in order, so that students can cut out and order the cards themselves.
To provide additional differentiation, writing pages are also included. Students cut and paste the sequences in the correct order (or they can draw their own sequences) and then write sentences to describe each picture.
The poster can be used as visual reminder that good readers think about the order of events while reading.
Includes an individual and class sequencing tracker to monitor student progress and understanding. These are particularly useful for students with IEP goals related to sequencing!
