Use this product to help your students sequence “A Pocket For Corduroy” by Don Freeman. Copy the cover pocket, the fold tabs, the words and pictures. Students start by matching picture to words and gluing those to tabs. (See sample.) Each students needs 4 small envelopes. Have them lick and stick and then cut in half forming two small pockets. (See sample.) Students will then glue pockets into “pocket” book made of construction paper. Then number them 1-8. Students will place folded flaps into
correct pockets.
