Why do your kids need this? Children need to count in order as a beginning step to math skills they will encounter as they grow. They also need to recognize numbers and be able to tell you what that number says. These cars can be put in order from 1-60.
You will be able to print these in color (pages 4-13) or print the black and white cars (pages 15-24) on colored paper. Laminate them, and then cut them apart. Store in an envelope, baggie, plastic container, or whatever your storage choice is.
Put these in a center for students to practice putting in order. In the beginning of year in kindergarten or preschool, you may want to only put out the first 15 to 30 cards. Add more in as your student’s abilities grow.
You could pass out one card to each child then see if they can put themselves in order by standing around the room. Start at any number, not just 1.
If you are in 1st grade you might want to pull out the odd cards and have students put the even numbers in order. Or make it more challenging and put the odd numbers in order.
