Sequencing Mini-books with an Apple Picking theme FREEBIE!

Many of my students struggle with sequences. Some are starting with 3-step sequences, others are working on more advanced six-part stories with a focus on comprehension questions. These FREE seasonal mini-books will give you lots of options for addressing this common goal at a variety of abilities.

Apple Picking mini-book for 3-step sequences:

Level 1: black & white mini-books contain both pictures and text
Level 2: color mini-book; contains text but the student cuts, arranges and pastes pictures in the book.
Level 3: color mini-book; student cuts, arranges and pastes pictures in the book and then adds accompanying text.

Making Apple Pie mini-book for 6-step sequences and comprehension questions:

Level 1: black & white mini-books contain both pictures and text with four comprehension/inference questions at the conclusion.
Level 2: color mini-book; contains text but the student cuts, arranges and pastes pictures in the book. This book also contains four comprehension/inference questions at the conclusion.
Level 3: color mini-book; student cuts, arranges and pastes pictures in the book and then adds accompanying text. This book ends with four open-ended questions that are not dependent on the child’s story.

Both books are easily folded from a single sheet of paper (great fine motor practice!)
