Sequencing Worksheets and Center Activity
About this book:
This book contains 10 sets of 3-part cut and paste sequencing worksheets and pocket chart center. The unit is ideal for introducing procedural writing.
Directions for use:
I have included 2 types of worksheets to help you differentiate your instruction!
The first set of worksheets (pages 4-13) are for basic sequencing. Children are asked to cut out the pictures from the bottom of the page and paste them on top of the numbered boxes to show the correct sequence.
The second set of worksheets (pages 14-23) asks children to cut out the pictures from the bottom of the page and paste them in correct order, and then to write a sentence to explain what is happening in each picture.
Pages 24-49 contain the following printables for use in a pocket chart center:
1. 10 sets of coloured 3-part sequencing cards
2. 1st, 2nd, 3rd and First, Next, Then cards
3. Title cards for each sequencing set
4. Sequencing sentences
To prepare the contents for use, print the pages you would like to use, laminate them for durability and then cut apart the cards on the dashed lines.
This activity can be differentiated to meet your children’s needs. Children can use only the pictures and put them in order, or they can match a sentence to each picture, or you can provide them with cards that they can write their own sentences on.
