PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity is a great supplement literature exercise to the book "There was an Old Lady who Swallowed some Leaves" by Lucille Colandro. It includes stick puppet patterns for retell, or they can also be used as a flannel board retell. The package also includes sequencing cards the students can order from the story. The pictures are hand drawn and large enough to be used as a coloring/writing activity as well. This activity is great as a balanced literature project, or could be used in a learning center. It is appropriate for Kindergarten or First Grade. Students who are advanced, and first graders, could retell in their own words with detail along with the sequencing cards.
