PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity is intended to help students understand and sequence significant events in World War II by analyzing primary sources. This activity can be used as a pre-assessment at the start of a World War II unit, as a formative/summative assessment before moving on to turning points, or as an end of unit review. This activity features documents related to five significant events in the war:
• German hyperinflation
• The German invasion of Poland
• The German invasion of France
• President Roosevelt’s Day of Infamy Speech
• The Holocaust
A graphic organizer and timeline are included.
