This is a group activity that reviews when to use ser and estar. There is a word or sentence written, and the students have to choose whether ser or estar is appropriate. Divide the class into groups, and one person from each group comes up to pick ser or estar which should be written on index cards. There should be one set of index cards per two people. The groups that pick the correct card get the points.
**Note: All of my powerpoints have blank backgrounds. Studies show that students with learning disabilities easily get distracted by images on slides. Also, adult students can have problems reading the slides if the font and color do not stand out.
