This is an activity where the students have to think about the different ways we use Ser and Estar in Spanish. It can be done individually, or as a group on larger paper.
You can have them cut and glue into the T-chart, or simply write the terms.
Can even be an assessment, or a review!
As an extension activity I return them all the next day and have the students add the reason why each item would be Ser or Estar (see my notes using DOCTOR/HELPS). So for example "italian" they would have glued or written in Ser column, then on day 2 reason would be "nationality/origin". What I love about the extension part is they catch their own errors and have the opportunity to correct them- which means a better chance of solidifying the knowledge in their brain.
