Lesson objectives: use a personality quiz and essay framework to write two paragraphs in Spanish using the correct forms of SER and ESTAR, adjectives with correctly gendered endings. Students will use dictionary to discover and use new words.
Students will take a Spanish language personality quiz using beginning level adjective vocabulary to define their personality, and learn new vocabulary through context. Students will then look up two new words in a dictionary to further describe themselves.
An essay framework is provided for students to fill the correct ser/estar form and adjectives to complete a paragraph comparing themselves to a student.
Students will then replicate the paragraph independently, this time contrasting themselves with a student.
