In this episodes, Koenig reviews all of the evidence against Adnan. Using a graphic organizer, students assess the value of the evidence. This is a great way for students to understand how to use evidence to make multiple arguments.
Students are also faced with the same challenges the narrator, Koenig, faces. Students are asked to evaluate if their opinions about Adnan have changed.
In this bundle, students learn to annotate a text with the purpose of comparing and contrasting. Students read through an abridged version of Drew Lindsay's article " Innocent Man on Death Row?" about Wolfe's case.

In this episode, students are introduced to an additional expert working for the innocence project. Students evaluate the information provided by Koenig and Enright. Students also evaluate Koenig as an authority and narrator in the podcast.
In this episode, Koenig focuses on the many aspect of Jay's character. Students are asked to consider both the positive and negative anecdotes about Jay. A graphic organizer is used to examine the source and what is said about Jay.
Students are also asked to consider the value of primary and secondary sources in the telling of Jay's character.
