As a school librarian I absolutely love helping students find the books they are looking for. There’s no feeling better than watching a student’s eyes light up when they tell about a great story that they just read. I made these picture cue shelf labels to help draw the eye, especially for some of our littlest readers, to make it easier for the students to be more independent when selecting a book. When students know where to find things on their own it not only frees up the librarians time to circulate among the patrons, but it builds confidence in the child and helps foster a sense of independence and encourages them to take ownership of their library.
Included in this packet are 40 labels designed for the elementary library or classroom. These would look adorable affixed to book bins, shelves, or hanging above a reading nook. Please enjoy these for free and checkout my store for more offerings to come!
