Serpiente game - snake board

Serpiente is a game that can be played with any vocabulary or grammar topic you want in Spanish class, or any class for that matter. Teams can be just partners or four players. You start at the head of the snake and play with one die. You roll the die twice every time it is your turn. I play with a powerpoint slide projected that has the vocabulary with numbers 1-6.

Students roll their number on their first roll and have to tell their partner what that word means in english. Then they have to roll again and that is how many spaces the move along the snake. I have played this with 2nd grade through seniors in high school and they all really love this game! Enjoy!
