Sight word readers
7 student books and 7 teacher books (large versions of student books)
All my books are designed to get harder through the sets and to build off of earlier books. I copy on cardstock for classroom/individual/guided reading books. I copy on white paper - double sided- to make into homework books.
These have semi-repetitive pages for beginner readers. It even has a HOMEWORK page where the student practice WRITING the sight word, FINDING the sight word, and then answers COMPREHENSION questions or writes responses. Teacher copy can be used for whole class reading (on document camera) or laminated for larger student book.
Set 5 sight words: here, there, where, will, get, look, some, did, not, now, what, want, (they repeated, but with a harder book)
These are my Blue colored sight words, so students work to pass off 12 words in this group.
