Set reading goals with your students using these picture cards... Use for hopes and dreams, to start the year, or to revitalize readers anytime!
I used these when finishing a reading unit of study. My first graders thought about themselves as readers and how they would like to improve. They wrote their names on sticky notes, and placed them next to the picture card for the goal they wanted to accomplish.
Launching readers workshop, starting new reading units, reflections, keeping kiddos on track, etc. … There are endless uses for these reading goal posters.
Includes: reading fiction, nonfiction, sounding like a teacher, reading big words, reading to others, remembering the story, and reading for a longer time.
