Each book consists of two pages, when run front to back, cut, and folded, will create a 10 page book. (The correct words and pictures line up when copied back to back, cut on solid lines and fold on dotted lines to create a small book. See free sample titled Fruit)

Reading Recover/ Early Intervention (EIL) 1

Consistent placement of text in upper left to reinforce directionality.

One line of text per page.

Good spacing between words to help teach one to one correspondence.

Repeated pattern.

High Frequency/Sight Word based.


The books in this packet are:

Also included is a set of 10 sight word flash cards with the sight words that are used in these six books. This can be run on card stock for durability. The sight word flash cards are:
