This is a set of five informational text lessons, including links to nonfiction articles. Question types include selected response, constructed response, and performance events. I have used these question sets with special education students in 7th-12th grades. They serve as good springboards for discussions and could act as introductions for project-based learning activities. I have not included answer keys, as my students and I find that multiple answers can be correct as long as they're supported by textual evidence and that traditional answer keys are limiting. These question sets can be used individually to review informational text reading strategies throughout the school year or as a review prior to end-of-year testing.
