This activity focuses on setting goals. With the new year upon us, this is a great time to re-focus and set goals. The students will outline their goals and the steps on the brace map.
The flow map is used to then break down each step and provide more detail. I have included sequencing words to help the students get started.
There are two writing prompts included:
1. Compile the information from the two thinking maps and write about your goal using sequencing words and add detail.
2. The questions ask: "How will you know if when you reach your goal?" "What are the consequences of meeting your goal?"
I have included two versions of the brace map, with and without the frame of reference question.
