Setting the Stage: Personal Organization will help ensure your students know what is expected for their planners and what is needed for basic organization. This lesson plan will help you communicate with your students during the first week of school about how to complete paper headings, log on to various software programs, complete and upkeep their daily homework planner, prioritize their work, and advocate for themselves.
Designed for the upper elementary or middle school years, this personal organization lesson plan includes an introductory activity, modeling of proper headings and login procedures, a planner activity so students can practice completing their own planner as well as prioritize those assignments, a Q & A period, role playing scenarios, and a closure activity.
