Product Description
The following is a 13 slide PPT which clearly and concisely teaches the steps towards World War II and how the United States responded before and after war broke out overseas. This PPT begins with causes leading back to the Post-WWI era, then introduces the key dictators and leaders overseas (Soviet Union, Germany, Italy, and Japan), then teaches the various examples of military aggression between 1931 and 1939 (12 examples given), then discusses the term appeasement, then moves onto the U.S. isolationist response, then onto more examples of military aggression leading to the beginning of WWII in Europe, lastly followed by the U.S. response and the lending of aid.
Each slide has great political cartoons and primary source pictures. Key terms, documents, people, and ideas are highlighted in red for students to focus on.
