Let students investigate Ancient India and the Settlement of Mohenjodara with this engaging Archeology Dig Activity!

This PDF includes images and notes on the Mohenjodaro site in Ancient India. The slides can be used in a variety of ways from direct instruction with analysis interaction to a centers activity if printed out and posted in stations to an archeological dig activity in which students work in pairs or small groups digging for cards and analyzing and recording the information on the provided handout.

About this Resource

I print and laminate the cards for the archeological dig activity and students LOVE this lesson! I use this pdf as a wrap up after my students do an "archeological dig" on the artifacts covered.

Student handouts are included as are wrap-up questions.
