This print and go activity packet goes perfectly with the short story "Seventh Grade" by Gary Soto. There are three section of questions that I created based on the Bloom's Taxonomy: Teacher Planning Kit. The questions I generated help students use their close reading skills to see beyond surface level questions that they've been accustomed too. Instead, these higher-level thinking questions require students to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the text. In each section, I have created a learning goal checklist that students can use to check their learning as they progress through the story and questions.
