Sew a Pet - Lacing Cards

Create your own fun and engaging sewing activity for little ones. Just print, cut and thread a needle to get started.

Children love these cute lacing cards that help teach them the basic running stitch while also strengthening their hand - eye coordination and fine motor skills. It is a perfect activity for quiet time as well as a craft class.

Suitable for ages 4 and up. Please note that this activity requires the use of a needle but can be modified to use as just lacing.

The pack includes 12 different cards with beautifully illustrated designs. There are 12 cute pets:

The cards are big enough for little hands to hold and see where they are sewing. The end product can be hung up to display or even be used in greeting cards, as bookmarks, key-rings as gifts.

Each sewing card is on an A4 size sheet – so you will print each sheet on A4

and then cut apart the circle.

There are two types of stitches to be made - straight or V stitches. Children

have to go front and back.
