This is a beautiful graphically designed set of instructions for a reversible apron. Important steps throughout the apron are graphically drawn to help students understand visually how to pin, sew and/or measure the next step. Students can be completely independent using this 6 page set of instructions. Teacher check-in points are also built into the instructions so students can check in with you at critical points of the sewing construction.
Instructions are written using both imperial and metric systems.
Students are to purchase anywhere from 0.7 metres to 1 metre of fabric, depending on how tall the students are. In imperial, 3/4 yard to 1 yard.
Please note this set of instructions uses pre-made ties for the apron (eg. twill tape or ties previously sewn). Also, these instructions do not include the actual pattern. I took 3 sheets of 8.5x11 paper and placed them side by side, lengthwise. I then shaped the top piece and shaped it into a bib as diagrammed in the instructions.
Also available for purchase in my shop is the apron criteria sheet.
