Teaching the basics of the Sewing Machine and Sewing is easy with the Sewing and Sewing Machine 101 Student Workbook. The Students work through a series of exercises that will teach them all the basic sewing techniques, like sewing a 5/8" seam to more complicated techniques, like putting in an exposed zipper.
I firmly believe that teaching sewing starts with learning the fundamentals of the sewing machine!
The workbook consists of 17 pages of sewing/sewing machine exercises. By including a page for the student to mount a sewn sample, it has been my goal to create a workbook that my students will be about to use as how-to reference manual in the future.
Please note, this workbook is meant to be done in a class setting with instructor guidance. It’s not meant to be worked through independently.
