Sforno is a game I designed to help children learn about different types of attributes. The game involves laying out a set of attribute cards, and then finding "connector cards" that illustrate their common or lack of common attributes. The game can easily be modified for children needing more support or those who require more challenge.
There are actually two Sforno games: the first (described above) and a second one where the connector cards are layed out and students have to find attribute cards which satisfy the connector cards.
There are various kinds of attribute cards included in this activity: leaves (number, color and type), monsters (eyes, legs and color) and a few others based on geometric shapes.
Finally, there are 15 different Sforno "puzzles" where students have a puzzle board showing a set of blank spaces with the connections shown between them, and students have to place the attribute cards in the correct place.
