Digraph Cup Sort makes a good center activity. Students are able to use these picture cards for repetitive practice.
This game is a very simple sorting activity in which students take turns naming the picture card and listening to the beginning digraph sound. Then they decide on which digraph cup it should be sorted into.
As an extension students can use the blank cards to draw pictures or write other “sh, ch, th, or wh” words and then add them to the game. Students can also be encouraged to use books to go on a word hunt looking for these digraphs at the end of a word vs the beginning.
This set includes 4 labels, 3 pages of digraph picture cards (30 cards), and 1 blank card page.
