Shakespeare: Hamlet: Act I Scene V - Task Cards
NO PREP - PRINT AND GO
I teach Great Speeches, or small segments of the Great Books, at the beginning of the semester as a way to engage my students in Higher Order Thinking, Close Reading, and Textual Analysis.
This unit is a great segue into any play by Shakespeare!
Included in this unit are the following:
➢ 17 TASK CARDS - these are not questions on the speech but rather the speech broken down into segments.
➢ A COPY OF THE SPEECH.
➢ THIS UNIT IS ONLY THE TASK CARDS. I HAVE ANOTHER UNIT THAT INCLUDES QUESTIONS, TEACHER NOTES, A GOOGLE SLIDES INTERACTIVE COMPONENT, AND MORE - YOU WILL FIND IT HERE:
Hamlet: Act I Scene V - Google Slides, Close Reading, Textual Analysis
Here are some other textual analysis units:
Shakespeare: St. Crispin's Day Speech
SHAKESPEARE'S KING LEAR BUNDLED UNIT
What is Textual Analysis? The Republic
TEXTUAL ANALYSIS - TOCQUEVILLE - GOOGLE SLIDES COMPONENT
